Simon Hickman FCII is a Chartered Insurance Broker and founder CEO of Access Insurance.

Having started Access in 1999, Simon has led the company to become a leading charity broker, employing over 60 staff and handling £18m in premiums.

Access has been built on social enterprise principles. Its vision is to be passionate about insuring every charity and living generously. This culture of giving is embedded throughout Access and shared by staff.

In 2024, the company joined the Benefact Group, which also shares the same values and a vision for giving, and Simon continues to lead Access.

Simon is involved with the Finance and Audit function as a trustee at two charities, one of which he chairs.
