Chris Newberry

Underwriting Manager

Chris joined Access in 2006. He enjoys working with some of the most complex risks we broke.

Having previously managed our broking team Chris is now our underwriting manager, responsible for our in-house underwriting. He works alongside our brokers, assessing and underwriting more complex risks, negotiating with insurers to obtain the best solution for our clients.

Chris also works closely with our Underwriting Director to develop more products to ensure we continue to offer market-leading insurance policies to our clients. He is qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and holds individual Chartered Insurance Broker status.

As a keen cyclist it’s not unusual for him to arrive at the office having completed a 30 mile ride. Chris would like to complete the amateur version of the Tour De France and is involved in his local church.Email:chris.newberry@accessinsurance.co.uk
